GLOBAL pimento prices have been relatively stable to slightly weak as continued sluggish demand cancels out the potential bullishness of this year's lower crops. On Monday, Kai Jantzen of Hamburg trader Jantzen & Deeke, remarked: "It's kind of amazing. Whatever the perspective of the crop was, a good chunk has been traded in August and September from all South American origins. The crops are definitely over by now."
