TRADERS are trying to establish the extent of damage caused by Tropical Storm Barbara to crops in Guatemala and Mexico. The storm reportedly lashed coffee and sugar growing areas near the Pacific Coasts of the two countries on June 2. Barbara made landfall shortly before dawn carrying sustained winds of 50mph and higher gusts, before weakening to a tropical depression as it moved inland.
