INDIA'S Spices Board is looking to develop an alternative direct marketing system for cardamom to bypass the auction system, offering new trading platforms for farmers. Cardamom growers in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are being provided an opportunity in the forthcoming India International Trade Fair in New Delhi for marketing their produce in the potential North Indian market, a board press release said.
